A division of Mount Franklin Foods LLC, Sunrise Confections is a world-class manufacturer of sugar-based candy.  The plant, located in Juarez, Mexico, commenced operations in March, 2001.  Due to its location in Mexico, Sunrise enjoys significant labor and raw material cost advantages compared to U.S. based sugar candy manufacturers.

Sunrise produces a broad line of hard candies such as Starlight Mints and Butterscotch Disks as well as soft candies such as Orange Slices, Spice Drops, Jelly Beans, and Gummies.  Sunrise Confections also manufactures products for major players in the U.S. based candy industry under contract manufacturing programs; full turn-key services are available to our contract manufacturing partners. 

Sunrise products are sold through major grocery, drug, mass merchant, food service, and convenience channels under both private labels and the Sunrise name.  In fact, Sunrise is a major player in the private label arena.
